Chief Executive Officer

Tell us a little bit about your background
After a short stint in the recruiting industry after college, I (luckily) found my way to higher education publishing where I held roles from sales to editorial/product development, to a Managing Director of Social Sciences and Health and Human Performance role.

I started TBG in equal parts because I was interested in bringing what I learned about using market insights to launch programs successfully to clients who could use that expertise and because I (at the time) had a one and a three year old and wanted to travel less and have flexibility in my life that would allow me to be more present for them as they were growing up.

Since our launch, we’ve learned that you can both exceed client expectations on the quality of the work that you produce AND have flexibility in your work life to accommodate a full personal life as well. That’s what makes me proudest of what we’ve created here.

What are some of your interests outside of work?
I am one of the people who left NYC (after 15 years) when COVID hit so we could have easier outdoor access. My family moved to Boulder, Colorado in August of 2020 and we have become the cliché new Coloradans you hear about: obsessed with everything outdoors – hiking, climbing, skiing, gravel bike riding across the thousands of dirt roads around the state, you name it. And I’m trying my hand at gardening (not successfully yet, other than some potted plants that really couldn’t be easier).

Gina climbing in Eldorado Canyon
This is a recent photo of my first climb in Eldorado Canyon; a Boulder classic area for climbing that we never thought we’d possibly be able to do when we moved here. We’ve been enjoying pushing our limits and comfort levels to try new things (even when I find it terrifying).

And when I’m not doing the above, I’m usually just hanging out with my husband, daughter, and son which is what I love doing most of all.
