Director of Operations
Tell us a little bit about your background:
After graduating college with my Masters in Education, I taught high school English for three years before making the transition into Higher Education Publishing in a sales role. I found it natural to speak with other instructors about their courses, what they looked for in good course materials and how they worked to help their students succeed, and I stuck with educational publishing for 15 years. When I heard Gina needed project managers, though, I leapt at the chance to work in the market research industry. I love working at TBG in the culture that Gina has created here, and I find it both interesting and motivating to help our clients develop better products and services based on the feedback we gather for them.
Terri and family. Such a fine sight to see!
What are some of your interests outside of work?
I live in the Midwest with my husband, and we have three mostly grown children. We enjoy going to my oldest son and his wife’s local rock band performances, and we try to travel to Lexington for a UK football game at least once a season in order to see my youngest son “do his thing” as a UK Cheerleader. I also volunteer as the VP of a new St. Louis nonprofit organization dedicated to providing education, empowerment and employment services to justice-involved people. When time permits, I like to travel and am looking forward to planning some long-weekend travel trips once my daughter settles into her schedule as a new nurse at a local hospital. If I find leisure time, I love to read (nearly anything) and occasionally indulge my inner science fiction/fantasy movie nerd.
